# Example prompts for the nine Hive tools

> Copy-paste prompts you can say to any AI client with Hive connected, the tool each one should trigger, and what a good answer cites.

Say these to any AI client with Hive connected. Your client picks the tool, so the tool named
under each prompt is the one it should call. If it calls a different one, or answers from
memory, add "Use Hive" to the prompt or install the [`hive` skill](https://docs.hiveintelligence.xyz/skills).

A good answer always names its sources. For the multi-part tools, that means one provider and
fetch time per section, and a plain statement of anything listed under `missing`.

## find\_token

> Which PEPE is the real one? Give me its contract on Ethereum.

> What token is at 0x6982508145454ce325ddbe47a25d4ec3d2311933?

> I keep seeing a token called "TRUMP". List the candidates and how they differ by market cap.

Triggers `find_token` (1 credit). A good answer gives the CoinGecko id and contract it
resolved to, says whether the match was `resolved` or `ambiguous`, and repeats any warning that
several tokens share the ticker.

## get\_token\_price

> What is Bitcoin trading at right now? Use Hive.

> What is the price of SOL in EUR?

> Price the token at 0x6B175474E89094C44Da98b954EedeAC495271d0F on Ethereum.

Triggers `get_token_price` (1 credit). A good answer gives the price with its provider and
`fetched_at`, and the 24h change when asked.

## check\_token\_safety

> Is the token at 0x6B175474E89094C44Da98b954EedeAC495271d0F on Ethereum a honeypot?

> Check this Base token for buy and sell taxes and hidden owners: `<contract address>`.

Triggers `check_token_safety` (1 credit). A good answer lists the flags that fired, quotes
the taxes, says the screen came from GoPlus, and does not call a token safe just because no
verdict fired.

## research\_token

> Research PEPE: is it liquid, how concentrated are the holders, and is the contract safe?
> Cite each source.

> Do due diligence on `<contract address>` on Base, including supply and top traders.

> Is ONDO real, liquid and safe? Give me one report.

Triggers `research_token` (5 credits, plus 1 for each of `supply`, `insights` and
`top_traders`). A good answer cites a source per section, names the contract it researched,
and says which sections are `not_applicable` or `missing`. If the name was ambiguous, it shows
the candidates and asks which one you mean.

## analyze\_wallet

> What does 0xd8dA6BF26964aF9D7eEd9e03E53415D37aA96045 hold?

> Analyze this wallet's holdings, PnL and recent activity: `<wallet address>`.

> Does `<wallet address>` have open Hyperliquid positions or Polymarket bets? Any risky
> approvals?

Triggers `analyze_wallet` (1 credit for holdings, plus 1 per extra section). A good answer
gives holdings with USD values, notes that spam airdrops were hidden, cites each section's
source, and says which sections do not apply to the wallet's chain.

## market\_positioning

> How is BTC positioned across perp venues right now? Funding, open interest, liquidations
> and long/short.

> How has ETH funding and open interest changed over the last 7 days? Include basis.

> Were longs or shorts liquidated more on SOL in the last 24 hours, and on which venues?

Triggers `market_positioning` (4 credits, plus 1 per optional metric). A good answer quotes
values per venue rather than one blended number, notes that funding intervals differ by venue,
gives the window it used, and cites the archive or exchange behind each section.

## market\_overview

> What is moving in crypto today?

> What are the hottest new pools on Solana in the last hour?

> Give me trending coins, the Fear & Greed index and total market cap.

Triggers `market_overview` (3 credits, plus 1 per optional section). A good answer separates
trending coins, gainers and losers and hot pools, gives the window, and cites each section's
source.

## defi\_yields

> What are the best stablecoin yields on Ethereum with at least \$5M TVL?

> Compare Aave and Compound on TVL and fees.

> Find yields on Arbitrum and split each APY into base and reward.

Triggers `defi_yields` (2 credits, plus 1 for `stablecoins`). A good answer shows TVL next to
every APY, separates base from reward yield, and says the data came from DeFiLlama.

## prediction\_markets

> What are the odds on the next Fed decision on Polymarket and Kalshi?

> What does the market say about Bitcoin reaching \$150k this year? Show how the odds moved.

> Show me the order book for Kalshi market `<ticker>`.

Triggers `prediction_markets` (2 credits, plus 1 each for `history` and `orderbook`). A good
answer quotes prices as market-implied odds rather than probabilities, names the venue for
each market, and says when the two venues' questions do not match exactly.
