Add the server

Open Settings > MCP Servers > Add Server, or edit ~/.cursor/mcp.json directly:

Cursor discovers OAuth from the URL and opens a browser when it first connects. No secret belongs in this file.

Verify

Restart Cursor, then ask in chat:

Use Hive to check whether 0x6B175474E89094C44Da98b954EedeAC495271d0F is safe.

You should see Cursor call a Hive tool before answering.

If tools do not appear

Cursor reads mcp.json at startup. Quit and reopen it after editing. If the server shows but has no tools, open the MCP panel and refresh it so Cursor re-runs discovery.
